    Great, I am not the only one who sees it like this

    Exactly how I feel. Then I feel even more like this when after critical changes hundreds of tests need to be updated because obviously they no longer work.

    oh yes, the testing debate... for small and simple projects tests may be pushing it, but there will always come the point where the project become so large that you can not grasp it entirely anymore. And then there will come a point where a change you make breaks something else, seemingly unrelated, and you dont notice it. tests are really only doing what you are doing when you try out your program manually, only automatically. so you test all the time, and you might consider automating certain tests. and then you could even make an art of it and get really robust, high quality software.

    @SukMikeHok ok.
    The "tagging in the meme" stuff is fine . But what's with the Emojis man ๐Ÿคจ ๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ’ฆ ? You trying to convey a message here ? Mind elaborating a little ?

    I don’t get it. It’s part of your job. Testing is a necessity. If we don’t stick to this standard how can we as an industry become more mature.
    Trust me I don’t like it either but it’s a must.

    Your supposed to write code to make sure that the code you are GOING TO WRITE will work properly...

    @ceee it looks like a pictographic description of diverse insertions?! I guess...
    A bit much...

    @leanrob thank you.

    Are you telling me you are not writing code to testing code you wrote to test the code you wrote in the first place?
