what's the difference between random and undefined in devrant?

@UltraJason: Undefined is the tag used for all rants before the implementation of categories.
You use random when your post doesn't fall within the preset categories.
E.g. "I saw a fly landing on my boss' desk, but he waved at her and she left."

Undefined is always something different and random lacks a definition.
