Anyone having problems after macOS Mojave update?

Whenever I point the cursor to the top left corner on my MacBook it just logs me out, it's annoying and happens frequently

Try Pantheon instead. It doesn't have that (and many other) problems.

Not having that problem. Is it perhaps a mouse issue (firing off stealth clicks)?

    Hot corners?

@AndSoWeCode I'll look into it, thanks

@monkeyboy it never happened before, started happening the day I updated.

@rgomez guess so, haven't looked into it much

I use the top right hot corner to lock my desktop. I would definitely look into your hot corner settings.

I'm losing battery power. I used to get around 12 hours. Now I get almost half of that.

    MacBook Air 2017

So was it hot corners then as others have suggested? Also you said problems, what other problems?
I skipped the high sierra update. Mojave has been brilliant, no issues yet.

Not happening to me, my MacBook is behaving. My friend did run into this though, for him, apparently hot corners got turned on after the update.

@helloworld I've been away for the last 2 days without my MacBook, so I haven't looked into it yet

I haven't heard many problems with the update actually but someone in the comments said it drains his battery

@desmondanimus that's even worse than my problem!
I don't even know if I have it because 90% of the time I'm using my MacBook I'd have it charging

Did you look into the settings? Power saving or display?

@bahua I think that's exactly what's happening, I'll look into it as soon as I can

@VenomDev I think it's hot corners too, I even forgot those existed when I started having the problem

    I'll definitely look into it

@AhmedZak well I haven't changed any such settings. I kept them at default since I the day I got it so I assumed the moving from High Sierra to Mojave wouldn't be a problem.

In fact I thought it would be more optimized :/

@helloworld yeah it turned out to be hot corners, and apparently there were other hot corners that I didn't realize were on 😅

@desmondanimus I didn't mess with my settings either but the Mojave update turned on my hot corners, that's the problem I was having

But sorry I have no idea how to fix the battery draining issue, I'd look in the settings though especially if it started all of a sudden

Maybe your daily use changed? Like you used to use it for coding mostly and now you started gaming with it?

@AhmedZak Well there wasn't such a drastic change but I don't know. Maybe I'm just being paranoid.

Except a little bit of occasional scraping and scatter plot visualisation.

I guess we'll just have to wait for an update from Apple?

    @desmondanimus hopefully they fix it
