Hey developer community.
Need to ask you all something.
Do you consider "To be good at competitive programming" or even experienced at that, with some kind of benefit in your fields ? Maybe even that can help in getting job interviews which are rather difficult to score by applying online. Just need y'all two cents. :)

I consider it a benefit and differentiator. It can catch someone's eye for a further conversation. Which is what a cover letter or resume should also do - get you a conversation.
Do you do competitive programming?

@Jumpshot44 Yes I do, I am doing it from past 1.5 years, but do not seem to get any real progress in it. Sometimes I get depressed while doing to, when I can't come up and implement a solution. Recently started app development, liked it and maybe we'll stick with that :)
