So if Verizon agreed to not SIM lock phones in order to get the the 700MHz Block C license aka LTE Band 13, and now they're SIM Locking phones, does that mean they're going to lose their LTE license?

Just kidding, that'd require an FCC with a spine. But it fucking should.

I'm really pissed with the way that US cell companies are removing freedom from phones, locking bootloaders etc., with the excuse of "we can't support non-stock operating modes". If I'm running a custom ROM, do you really think I need your support? Fuck right off.

This rant is clearly critical of the government and so you have been deducted 40 freedom points from your secret internal citizen score. If you loose another 60 points, you will be used as a blood bank to bestow eternal life to the Verizon executive of our choosing.

@tokumei That would imply that they actually do support the default version lol. I Have only ever got 1 update ever on any phone Ive ever owned, even right now get "there are no updates available for your phone" lol
