Hey DevRant Fam! , i really hope everyone is doing very well as always! :D <3 I'm currently now learning c# MVC5 which is incredibly new to me and something I've personally never seen and or done, but i love a challenge!.

Now onto something bit more 'somewhat' personal :D, for about 5 years I've been undergoing Immunotherapy Treatment because i suffered from serve chronic eczema and last week was my last ever consultation! I'm incredibly happy to be done with it, another stress lifted off my shoulders :D.

Anyways guys and gals, i really hope everyone is having an amazing day and or night wherever you may be in this world :D

Best wishes <3
Milo

Glad to hear you are doing well :) Good luck on your mvc path (it's actually quite easy once you get the hang of it).

@iamoverdriver Thank you so much mate!, btw i just want an opinion, i moved from doing WinForms as its kind of outdated and not really used Industry wise (As ive been told), what is your opinion on it?

@KingMilo Yeah it is out dated and old and most would suggest using WPF over WinForms, however, I still use WinForms. If I quickly want to build some tool for a specific task, I'll quickly create a new project (either WinForms / Console app).

One of our products is entirely built using WPF. We are now in the process migrating to web / cloud and are looking into using asp.net core razor pages. (We might wait until Miscrosoft releases https://blazor.net/)

In this day and age, everything is cloud driven and open on the web and that's where I try to put most of my focus in terms of learning and experimenting.

@iamoverdriver I very much enjoyed reading your response. Being a very new developer myself i know winforms are old but I really enjoyed learning it. I have this fear that since tech changes so quickly i feel so behind and kind of feel like I’m lost in a forest of sorts.

So me personally wanting to become a .Net dev its must to know MVC? :-)

    Thank you

@KingMilo do you mean this ASP.net thing with mvc or WPF?

Personelly i love wpf and c# in generell, but not this ASP.net thing and the IIS.

    For web i use angular2+ / vuejs.
    For the frontend of course.
Build the last half year a web app for our customers in angular5 and with a RESTful backend completly in c# using nancyfx.
Maybe you want to check this out 😊

@elzdev perfect! Thank you for your kind response! Which one should I check out? :-)

    @KingMilo everyone 😁
But first nancyfx because it's c# and it's pretty easy i think.
If you want some cleaner frontend (in my opinion) the check also one of the another two out.
You can code in both with typescript which is very similar to c#. 😃

@elzdev awesome my friend - funny enough someone mentioned that i learn angular along with c# :D- but i also really enjoy designing the GUI like we did in winForms!
