I'm looking for a new side project.. I want to write in Python or React, haven't used those languages before but want to learn them by doing something more or less useful :D

my first python app was an IP checker which runs and checks my external IP on my computer, if it changes from one run to the next, it will email me with the new IP. It also contains a logging function to output any errors, very useful.

A few friends and I have a Minecraft server on one of my computers so if the IP changes it lets us all know so we can connect again.
