There is this try hard dude in my group project team who runs Kali Linux as host (to look cool I think), won't ask anyone for help, yesterday spotted him trying to install a rpm package on his host *facepalm*. Later ran into a guy who kept insisting on me to install windows on my machine just because he thinks it is better, what the fuck is happening here?

Please. You're acting like linux fanboys don't say shit like "use linux" when you ask about a windows issues or anything relatively close to a question about an OS.

Hey, btw, rpm on Debian based distros is totally possible via a tool called alien, it even handled Autodesk Maya rpm, which was a huge and complex package.

Though installing anything on Kali from outside Kali repos is a horrible idea, yeah.

Nothing expressly wrong with running Kali as a main system if you're doing it just for fuckall or you really know what you're doing, though.

Windows guy expressed an opinion, you probably told him that Linux is better. Sounds like a pretty standard conversation to me. Try to explain to Windows guy why you think Linux is better, and if he doesn't get it, cool. Windows is genuinely better, depending on your preferences.

@RememberMe Nah, I didn't even try, the was like totally insisting on getting windows just because he thinks gaming is the best thing to do for me. And I know the possibility but he is new to linux so I'd later ask him to get something like Ubuntu or Manjaro instead of running Kali.
