Google pay was just released is Sweden! Yes!!!!

The gas station down my street doesn't take it. I find about half of them do. That's a number I just created of course. I'm only going to remember the ones that don't because of the feeling of annoyance that follows.

@duckWit I'd make a guess that about 70% have contactless here in Sweden. At least of the stores that I visit. I "blip" my card without even thinking. BABS, one of the biggest card reader providers in Sweden forced quite a few vendors to update, if I'm not wrong :)

It's accepted here in Canada. The number of vendors that actually accept it, on the other hand, is another story...

Yeah...... No. It seems like a very fucked up idea to give Google access to my financial transactions. Even more since they're integrated with the biggest mass surveillance network ever created.

But then, I couldn't even run it since I removed Google play services from my phone and actively block anything from Google ;P
