Ladies and gentlemen... It finally happened... I finally killed a Linux install!

Was stuck at 1024 x 768, installed NVIDIA drivers, crashed, restarted and ended up in an endless login screen loop and then boom, crash and is no longer recognised in Grub.

Don't know what I did seeing as the machine hasn't been on for 3 days ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Guess I'll have to do a reinstall when I have internet again!

    So that Australian term "internot" is actually a thing? 🙃

    Would've been interesting to hear how exactly the machine got fucked up though... Perhaps you could retrieve the last commands through a chroot? Or even just retrieving your history file from the live session.. you know, for scientific purposes 🙃

    @Condor haha nah used up all our data for the month so have 1Mbps down which is painful to install on till the 19th

    And hmmm, might fire up my old arch USB and do some digging and see what I can find... Shall get back if I find anything

    @Condor small update.

    Couldn't chroot into the installation nor could I mount the drive from a live installation, just wiped the drive and did a reinstall ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
