Any of you use gaming mouse buttons for productivity while coding?

Not while coding per se, but on my G5 tower I used ControllerMate to program a USB PS2 controller as a mouse, with hotbuttons for app switching, quitting, closing windows, and scrolling.

I never even used a gaming mouse for gaming

Just kidding, I often use my mouse to navigate vim, tmux etc. The extra buttons on the other hand? I couldn't really care less. As far as I know, they're xf86 type buttons and Mate doesn't support those very well.

I didn't bought 60% keyboard to use mouse :P

On the rare occasions that i use a mouse; yes. I'm way too addicted to vim tho, so...

I have my buttons mapped to Browser Back, Browser Forward and F5 (Site refresh).
That's all you need as a web dev
