@ParkCity I've known about bash_aliases and bash_profile for a while, but I find it simpler to just use bashrc.

@bcye @Proximyst make sure you've got lines 94, 95, and 96 somewhere in your .bashrc so it pulls from the .bash_aliases file https://gist.githubusercontent.com/...

I also alwayd put "alias dir='ls'" in there, as well as "alias cmd=<shell>" if I need to switch terminals often
