Fuck those groupmates that leech off me. I can easily finish this project in a week but they are being a burden to me. They're not doing anything.

You can ask you professor to kick them out of the group.

Make it clear in your assignment the work what is being contributed, and by whom.

Back in college I took a business class, and the final grade was a group project consisting of a 20-page hypothetical business plan.

I got stuck with 4 basketball players. And was naïve enough to expect serious contributions from them.

Morning the project is due, we got together at 6am to assemble everybody’s contributions (4 pages each, in theory), and each of them gave me a quarter page...in ebonics.

Suffice to say, I spent the next five hours writing their content and getting it printed. The professor wanted us to sign all the pages we contributed to, so I had them sign just the cover sheet, then signed all pages myself. Was two hours late to class, but our project was accepted.

A couple days later the professor calls me to his office to explain the signatures. I told him what happened and showed him the original submissions. He gave a knowing nod, said he’d handle it from there, and that was the last I heard of it. Got an A in the end, at least.
