@linuxxx ever thought of working in the government? I've been toying with this idea for a while now. They could sure use a few privacy advocates. You may be able to do a bit now, but imagine what you could do in a position of authority.

It's the system that needs to be fixed (i.e. need appropriate checks and regulations), Google/FB/etc. are just specific manifestations. Even if you take one of them down ~somehow~, somebody else is just going to do it all over again.
