    No. Like the UI to add components and establish connections using GUI.

    I couldn't find any good library. Seems like a uml diagram connection logic would work for this application or a graph visualization library.

    Not any more than fixing some bugs.

    You could try building on top of CircuiTikz, if you don't mind the edit-compile-view cycle.

    What's the point of a schematic editor if it's not part of a simulator?

    For converting those schematic to PCB layout and also and also documenting and sharing the schematic.
