@Conrad at least they are willing to show them on your PC. I once had an ä in my windows username (I randomly smash my keyboard when creating an account after installing windows) and it didn't even want to start because I'm not allowed to have an ä in my config path of android studio 🎅

@b3b3 A former colleague ended up with a UTF-8 smart quote in her username instead of an ASCII apostrophe, because her name had been copied from a Word doc. She had been using the password reset sometimes multiple times a day!
