I am so fucking happy with the windows October update!

Never thought I'd be able to say the stable windows 10 builds are more unstable and prone to fatal errors than a rolling release Linux distro, now if only more Devs would port there fucking software to Linux *eye twitches*

Been on Antergos Rolling release for about two years now. I've had more problems with windows that Linux under that time. Maybe just me. 🤷‍♂️

@olback nope, had more issues than I can count with windows.

The rant was more just legit being happy about windows fucking up so badly haha.

Plus a little self indulgence because I I use an app that is windows and Mac only yet I know they have a functioning Linux build internally *eye twitches*

Yesterday i was setting up a new laptop for the collegue that comes on monday..for some weird reasons the display port doesnt work.not on docking station A, not on docking Station B and the cable isnt at fault aswell. I left work yesterday puzzled why on earth that is so...the laptop worked fine when i set it up.

On the tram back home i read an article how intel supplied faulty drivers to windoof. I am not sure if this is the actual problem but if it is...i deeply regret having updated the machine...and one should never regret updates

After several decades of experience with OS development, you'd expect Microsoft to be able to make something decent.. but clearly that's just wishful thinking ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@stillwater just how bloated and locked down it is, also have issues with it slowly starting to lock up requiring a fresh install from me every 4-6 months or so.

I'm probably in the mass minority but seeing as Linux exists in its capacity just emphasises the issues I have with windows

I saw the release note said windows is adding a new feature, so android emulator can run hardware acceleration on AMD cpu. Still no luck so far... 🥺
