My boss now has me writing an angular app but I'm not allowed to reuse components. The retard level is over 9000

You're not allowed to "reuse components"?! Since when is that a valid requirement?

@hamido-san apparently it means if something breaks it won't break everywhere. Shame it means more things can break.

Well we know it means the opposite: if something needs top be fixed, it needs to be fixed everywhere...

I'd argue that this requirement was too broad and needed to be broken down to smaller pieces, and tried to get them to write down EVERY single component I'm not allowed to reuse, so if by then they didn't already notice the problem, I could at least keep complaining about the huge backlog of redundant tasks they dumped on me...

    He should fire himself.

@craig939393 omg. I hate it when managers tell me how I should do things they know nothing about. That's worse than anything I've ever dealt with though. I'd find some sources to back up your position. Start with the official angular page listing it's features then an introductory programming textbook. If he's gonna argue with that then start working on your resume cos that ship's going down
