Just went to the new cafe next to me (all over the top fancy as usual around here), thought after a long time I could and should enjoy a nice drink, snack and a great view while coding.

Got two babies screaming out their internals right when I've paid and sat down, then an old guy started asking me to leave multiple times, threatening to call the police and trying to drag me off my chair, because I "shouldn't be breaking other peoples computers" - most likely because I was pulling+compiling evince via yay and he caught a glimpse of it when I checked if it finished or not.

One of the employees saw that happening and kicked the old guy out, then gave me a fresh donut as a "sorry", was for sure the best donut I've ate, not because of the taste, but because I saw the old guy then hovering across the street and occasionally giving me a look, as if he's waiting for the FBI to finally show up and he could tell where I escaped to.

tbh when the employee was approaching, I've seen this turn into a completely different rant, positively surprised there's still some sane people out there.

There was a story when one boy was crying his shit out when there wasn't Wi-Fi in airplane so that he can play on his iPad.

Hahaha whaaat that's insane. I love how ignorance didn't make him think "I don't know what that man is doing" but rather "that has gotta be illegal because I don't understand it" 😂😂😂

Very similar situation happend to me, I was waiting in the car for my children near the school, I took my notebook and countinued developing my app - black IDE screen, green text and so on, and noticed one guy circling around my car, then he came to my window and said that I was hacking into his luxuriuos car and he is calling police... I started laughing, then the children came and we left. strange experience...

@kotman12 seriously? assuming a nationality based on one comment and a stereotype on a country's population? way to go

@CoffeeNcode k apologies then, didn't realize your response was ironic.

@CoffeeNcode looks great, though it somehow really kills me that all the cups are centered horizontally but heavily off their coasters. haha

@Elyz @irene @kotman12 tbh I might as well be stateless (I just like the place I've found for now), as I have near full digital nomad lifestyle, even my physical mail I get digitally, so it's really hard to tell if I might as well move tomorrow to any other country, possibly making one of your assumptions correct.

@JoshBent sorry I triggered your OCD there ;) but I can assure you that the coffee was superb!
