Quite useful for a warehouse manager or an orderpicker, though for the latter quite expensive to invest in. I'm honestly interested as it's right in my alley at the job, but again; too expensive. :x

tohether with a indoor traking system like www.estimote.com surely a good solution. But i guess you could get that scanner for a fraction of the $1200 from china. But then again it's the software that matters.

@heyheni Honeywell has equivalent products for 1/4 of the price. We tried, but the barcode infrared has much shorter range. Completely useless in a warehouse situation.
Another option is iPhone with barcode sleeve... which cost even more.
BTW, zebra MC3200 is almost the same price as this one, but 800MHz cpu on windows embedded 7.0 is a nightmare. Yes, they are still selling them brand new in 2018!

A friend of mine actually found one of those laying on street. Windows thing. I've got it now, collecting dust in a box somewhere

@ScriptCoded wow! You pick up 1000 dollar on the street 👍

@sunfishcc Haha yup, crazy af... Perhaps I'll try and find it when I get home. Don't know the model

Edit: I think it's something like this: http://nordelettronica.com/english/...

@ScriptCoded it will take very very long time to do anything. Be patient 😉

Why not a TC8000? We use it in the "warhaus" 😏
