Writing about dating sites is a UX nightmare
I’m Stacey Laura Lloyd, and I write about relationships on DaterSearch.

My rant? Too many dating platforms make my job impossible. Pages full of flashing banners, fake “new messages” pop-ups, hidden fees buried in fine print, and designs that look like they haven’t been updated since 2005.

I want to highlight legit sites for readers, but instead I waste hours digging through broken links and outdated UIs just to find a single trustworthy feature.

It’s ironic: dating is complicated enough, yet the sites that are supposed to make it easier end up being the biggest red flag of all.
