Big title games

Console to Mobile: redesign the game to make it easy to play

Console to PC: just port the game, keep the console keys but remap them... randomly so it makes no logical sense and is impossible to remember or easy to press when needed (at least to me)

I guess ditching games on PC years ago was the right move but now I have A way overpowered computer... (Gonna take a while to get around to that ML stuff I had planned... Prolly taking a React/Native die first and maybe do some also for interviewing)

    @irene I don't think it used to be like that say 10 years ago though...

    I just gave up on how annoying pc gaming could be, swapped down to xbox and shit has just been so much easier (Plus it's kinda cool to develop for)

    @irene my point is, why remap at all. It feels like now they just pull the game from console and drop it into a converter so they can stuck a Runs On PC label on it.

    And no I remember the old pc games had less keys.

    @Nanos the problem is there are too many keys. I think in latest Monster Hunter, too shoot you need to draw weapon, load, and fire. 2 keys and a click.

    And in a lot of games you have too use both mouse and keyboard and the default mapping just seems like dis anyone actually try playing with these mappings?

    @irene make the default mappings more sensible, redesign the game play so it's PC friendly, or stick a warning on the package that's says Controller required... Then at least I don't even need to bother playing them to find out.

    @irene hmm... I wonder why... 🤔🤔🤔

    @Nanos use Joy2Key to map it to keyboard functions, then use "Generic USB game controller" driver.

    @irene just wondering but, do they work with Android if I use an OTG cable?
