To tell you the truth, I do not like dark themes on IDEs. They strain my eyes too much and cause headaches.
The reason is simple: I do not like to work in the dark. So with enough ambient light, a dark theme is poison for the eyes.
On the other hand, when you have only little ambient light, making your monitor the main light source, a light theme can strain your eyes a lot.
So when you are working in a light environment, you should reconsider using a dark theme at all.
Dark themes are the stilettos of programming. They look good, but they're bad for you.

@SauceBoss I mean sure there's fucking nerds that take this shit way too seriously.
But most people that say shit about using dark themes are obviously joking and don't give a shit about what people use.
