    @praytay see this is the problem: you haven't even read what I said on the forum and you've already decided it isn't an answer which is exactly how idiots on SO do things and that makes no sense. Let me reiterate:

    Question: Why doesn't this work?
    Me: Because python doesn't allow this.

    Pray tell what this answer doesn't provide? Note that the guy didn't want a workaround, he wanted to know what was happening under the hood to throw an error when he ran code a certain way and why.

    Also, I'm clearly short handing the q and a - I explained why python disallows the code in question and he had a more detailed question. But seriously, this jump to "that's not even an answer bruh" is so fucking absurd it drives me nuts.
