Was making a chessboard that would move on its own, using two of these shaft but the problem is One of the smooth shaft is not working, so should i use only one shaft?

Current situation XD, will be connecting it with pi, the code is working fine but the problem lies in weight balancing, will 3d print the remaining parts

@vidu all shafts and screw rod must be exactly aligned, you need to make two exact pieces to each end, so the holes for the shafts have exactly the same distance. Deviation of distance for 1mm and it won't work
