    If you need to explain to your TECH lead what the diff between 0 and null is, you should look for a new job cos it sounds like he doesn't know what he's doing.

    In C/C++ NULL is defined as 0 though!

    @HollowKitty Tech isn't just coding. Why would former let's say network manager or sysadmin have to know difference between 0 and null?

    @hitzoR Are you for real? Go ask your current network admin/sysadmin if he knows the difference. Yeah, there is a difference between connecting to an empty pool and not connecting at all.

    @HollowKitty For him it isn't 0 or null, but empty pool or no pool. Same principle, but different wording. And they might not be aware of particular programming terms.
