    Thats why sometimes I hate over use of patterns and abstraction. Don't get me wrong, they are important I know but sometimes keeping it stupid simple works better.

    Just look at the file names, and you know what's going on. Whenever you have tons of these nebulous, meaningless things, it's a safe bet that people tried to shoehorn shit into design patterns that don't fit, or that architecture astronauts were at work.

    @Fast-Nop I though SAP hybris is overengineered. But this piece of shit really tops it.

    In the training they promoted their idea of "one universal architecture approach to maximize productivity". This shit should prevent code smell and maintainance burden. But I never bought that shit. It smelled from the start ....

    @mojo2012 that's the tool life cycle. Devs want to make their stuff more universal and more abstracted, and at the end, the thing becomes so cumbersome to use and maintain that the next dev just writes his own small and focused tool. And then the cycle starts over.
