I want to have a universal basic income. Enough money for food and rent, no worries. So I could choose not to work and could constantly visiting friends who have time too. Or start a start-up and travel the world.
(I know, I know, but hey don't steal my illusions!) -
@620hun this?

and why should one do read this book in your opinion? 🙂 -
Root797396yA regular job cannot satisfy ambition. You will never be happy working for someone else.

@Root Maybe they can make me less sad or more prepared to be happy for my future own job.

VaderNT16186yI think a regular job can make you happy, which needs an excellent work culture and especially an excellent management culture.
An so far I've never seen that.
At the end of the day I'm with @heyheni though. I'd love universal basic income. I would still work, but without the whole pressure of "my boss wants this" or "the client wants that". I could quit anytime without the need to go job hunting first. In short it would eliminate a lot of stress factors. -
vane110546yDepends on how you define your goals. For some people money is important, for others time is more precious.
If you define how much money is enough and how much free time is enough and stay with your decision instead of changing it every day, you will be happy.
Can any regular job make a person happy? No matter what the pay or content of the job is, I get bored easily and disappointed at myself.
I have more fire inside me when I am doing personal projects but am not entrepreneur myself either.
