Generation gap

People complain to me that the generation stays nose in phone and doesn't socialise. Yet this photo does highlight my counter argument.

I see plenty of people in the generation above me nose in book or paper refusing to be social.

I have seen many individuals reading papers or books being downright hostile if I need to disturb them to ask them to move (they were in my reserved seat on a train) or even that their kid (family) was about to do the very thing they'd been told not to do.

I assert this head down oblivion is not a new thing, it's been a behaviour since the advent of widely distributed paper media, it's just we have upgraded tech and somehow the argument is different now...

There's like 4 - 5 generations there, but never mind. The brain always likes to be preoccupied, such is human nature.

    Shouldn't there be more people?
