i hate windows errors so much
there's no information whatsoever, its just "error code 0x696969 lmao something wrong try again later"

what i hate even more is asking microsoft forums what the error code means and being asked if ive tried turning it off and on again

    And remember that when you handle errors in your own code.

    SharePoint error logs, I'm looking at you (some of the stupidest errors you'll ever see).

    I had an sqlite3 binary at a path inside $PATH.
    So I typed, "sqlit"<TAB> and it even autocompleted to sqlite3
    Hit enter
    Bash output:
    ```
    -bash: /full/path/to/sqlite3: No such file or directory
    ```
    Good luck finding the actual mistake with that

    How about checking the event log?

    @nitwhiz

    I have a dooozy of an error at the moment, it just stops working, and there is no useful error beyond "cable unplugged", except cable isn't..

    Event viewer shows nothing.

    They ask you that as a RAM clear and reinit does actually solve a lot of problems.

    @Nanos sounds like a bad cable.

    @Parzi

    Tried a different cable, same issue.

    So far tracking it down to Windows and networking doesn't play nicely together when coming out of hibernation after more than 24 hours powered off.

    Perhaps related to DHCP server, so trying static IP addresses instead, and non-hibernation, has at least reduced the issue from 95% of the time, to 5% of the time.

    Still investigating. :-)

    @Nanos If you're leaving for over 8 hours you should always entirely shut down.

    @Parzi

    I like hibernation because it takes less time to get to a working desktop in the morning when I wake up.

    @Nanos but you have fewer issues if you don't hibernate

    @Parzi

    I'm finding that out.. and there was me thinking after 30 years it might actually work 100%..

    Still, I might get to the bottom of the issue eventually..

    Meanwhile, can I ever get copy and paste to work after 20+ years of not working right !
