Maybe not the place to rant about this but I was unable to post on r/VPN nor r/NordVPN because I have insufficient karma (I have negative karma). I just want to ask some questions!!!! It's the same frustration as in Stackoverflow when I want to upvote something and tells me I don't have enough points (I only have 2 points). Thanks internet for reminding me every day that I am not enough important to say what I want and making me feel like less. Is devRant going to shut me? Wouldn't be surprised! Anyways TGIF and have a nice weekend 0/

excuse me, i find your rant quite hard to understand/make sense of it. I may advise you to make use of that return button to format your thoughts with line breaks.

Lol, what did you do to get negative karma?

And yeah, I get your frustration at SO's system (I'm on the same boat), but I guess it's a necessary evil to prevent downvote abuse (of which they have too much already).

At least here you can rant freely about anything. As long as you're not a dick. Or at least not an unlikeable one :D

@heyheni see this image? It resumes everything...

@endor Well it seems I can't edit freely. Only eleven minutes after I posted...🤦‍♂️

@marcoandre1 That affects everyone (except @dfox and @trogus, the two developers and owners) to prevent abuse (sth. like "get 100 upvotes and than totally change the meaning of the post").

Feel free to rant about anything, as long as you aren't insulting direct persons. Also reposts or wrong categorized posts (e.g. memes outside joke/meme category) aren't generally liked here, but also aren't the end of the world either.

@marcoandre1 yeah, it's a little annoying, but you learn to live with it - it's not that big of a deal after a while *shrug*

This is not some super-serious and professional site anyway, so who cares if there's a misplaced comma and you didn't notice within 5 minutes

@sbiewald I do understand that it prevents abuse, that the platform isn't free to maintain and that this is one option to get revenue.

The problem is general and it seems we always have to pay the consequences of some internet trolls. Anyways we aren't fixing internet. Let it be 0/

@marcoandre1 Easiest way to solve your problem would be to make another Reddit account.
