@rendezvous Yes or no (in my opinion). If doing it a week later is enough, sure, but I've heard some saying "why not doing it in September". That would create quite a lot of problems I'd say.
I do agree on the second part of your sentences but isn't there any other way to solve that problem (different hours, less students per rooms, etc.) to solve the issue?
