A budget of $5k, what is the best spec and performance wise macbook pro that you recommend me to buy and why? I need an answer asap

    3k$ on a baller tower pc (non-mac) and 2k$ on a top-of-the-line thinkpad.
    Bonus: you can use the tower pc through remote connection when you need that extra horsepower.

    There are, like, 2 MacBook pros. Since your budget is high, just pick the higher one. Asking for direction here is going to get you anything but the answer you want to hear.

    @endor Top of the line thinkpads cost around $10k though (but are also far superior to crapbooks)
