My desktop pc is suddenly having issues connecting to my home WiFi network, every few minutes it just stops having an internet connection while not showing anything out of the ordinary.

I finally have time to work on some side projects and now THIS happens, weirdly enough it's also just this network, my hotspot seems to work fine.

Now I have a watcher on to keep systemctl restarting the networkmanager, why can stuff just not work for once ? ;_;

I've had this issue since a few months but the failure interval has never been this bad. usually it was just one restart a day

Time to look up the linux mint forums again

    Do other devices/OS on that network work fine? (Phone, Windows PC if you have one, etc.)

    @RememberMe yep, I've already tried several linuxmint forum posts, commands, update/upgrades and rebooting the modem a few times

    It's so weird, sometimes it works longer than 5 minutes and sometimes it drops after several seconds, and ony that network.

    My final solution is reinstalling mint or another distro entirely, but I'm not that desperate yet

    Also tried to forget the network and sign in again, I also tried visiting the modem's webserver to no avail. Pinging also doesn't work.

    I'll go through another few diagnostics online, hopefully I'll find at least something

    Edit: This is a dual boot and windows works normally, even on that network.

    Now that you mention it, I did have a windows update before this started happening
