This is not about Trump at all. People have always been like this. People are nice to other people in general, but do you know why? Because they don't really give a fuck about anyone else unless they have a specifically good day. Everyone has their problems but as long as you're surviving you don't show it to others. No one is truly happy and everyone needs money in case shit hits the fan for them or their family. There's only one social truth in this world and that's that you can only truly rely on yourself and *no one* else.

Media will try to lie to you about how everybody cares about everyone else, but its just a big lie humanity is telling themselves to escape the fact that we are in the end just animals driven by instincts and everyone is by definition an egoist.
