I don't know about LinkedIn API but I really hate LinkedIn UI. I find it so unfriendly
-
@asgs tbh i'm just annoyed that for other social networks there are plugins and easy solutions and linkedin doesn't have that, and i'm not getting very far with their oauth 2 api
-
asgs115635y@darksideofyay looking at their docs, I don't see any surprises. What's going on, actually?
-
@asgs i got the authentication code, but can't get the access token, and i have no idea why
-
asgs115635y@darksideofyay what happens when you try to exchange auth code for the token? Bad request? Internal server error?
And this is what you are following, right? https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/... -
asgs115635y@darksideofyay that's weird. Is the state parameter value you sent before getting the code same as what you got back along with the code?
Even if it's not, CSRF check should be done by the app, not the authorization server. Maybe they expect you to relay that state while exchanging the code for the token? 🤔 -
@asgs that's the thing, the docs say i don't have to pass the state in the access token request, and it shows the same error either way
-
asgs115635y@darksideofyay time to ask your question on their forums or even SO with appropriate tags. I got a few Qs answered really quick
All the best -
