in a similar vein to the week's question, who is your favorite developer you've worked with and why?

A colleague, friend and old classmate of mine. Back then we agreed on code structure but disagreed on almost everything else (code related). It caused for healthy discussions and we both werent dead set on one thing. Brainstorming together was amazing.

Once we had to rebuild a website we had set up and was afterwards ruined by other devs (read: everything was modular and somehow they removed foreign key constraints in the database so they could link an item to something else as well).
We rewrote the complete thing while switching from wordpress to OctoberCMS as well in three weeks time. Mainly because the whole structure had been discussed by us already and we both always knew what feature we could work on without conflicting each other.

I think both our thinking processes got upgraded tenfold while we worked together.
