I had quit smoking. Till I got called in to fix a dead server and found out they weren't backing up the raid array with all the data on it. I broke 87 hours at 4 this morning got a few hours of sleep and back at it today. Im up to a pack and a half a day now.

Perhaps if you told them the data is lost forever, management wouldn't conclude that "hey he could fix it, there's no need for backup."
