What does a frontend php developer do

Isn't front end web work? Like directly affects the visuals? Every page I have made required some level of PHP work even if most of the time I was doing CSS and HTML.

In the beginning, backend was written in c, php was just a templating engine front end developers used to implement conditional rendering logic and such in their HTML. So maybe whoever wrote the ad simply didn’t catch up with the last 2 decades 🤷🏻‍♂️
