The basic rule of thumb is
"If you do it more than three times, write a script to automate it.". -
kamen69955y... and it takes two hours to automate it. Four times (more than three, right?) multiplied by five minutes... yeah, you get it.

Hazarth95035yI only automate shit on my own time, not company time, which means I can waste all the time I want on it and then be less frustrated with repetitve tasks during my work. Not to mention I had something fun and possibly new to do/learn.
So the way I see it. It's a win/win -
