Employer:"Have you tried JIRA before?"

Me: "I know JIRA, it came from a company called 'Atlassian'. I was interested in their product, but it says that it has 30 days trial. So I didn't have a chance to use it."

After a month..

"Our JIRA is pirated, we will use it in our internal servers"..

Me: (I thought this company got an enterprise product of JIRA).

    Atlassian do have standalone server installation of their product. Are you sure its pirated?

    I didn't know about that. They just said it. Why would I be liable to their product.

    No, no, no, the tip off is because some companies *will pay you* for letting them know.

    I think @wisecrack is referring to a bounty that atlassian might pay you for identifying a scofflaw for them. I don't think he's encouraging you to seek legal action.
