Homebrew eats shit. It is easily the slowest and least effective package manager I have ever used on the command line. It feels like software that was great in 2006, but hasn't changed since then.

    well lately it takes ages to just run brew upgrade ...
    besides that i like it.
    i wished though it would be faster 😒

    never thought I'd say that but npm install runs faster than brew update/install :\

    What about you remove the node-module folder, and do a yarn install, and finish it in 20 seconds ?

    totally agree
    brew has been the slowest package manager that i have used yet. i wish it would at least download the packages in the background while installing the downloaded ones in the foreground 😢

    Sorry, I don't believe you.

    It cannot be worse than npm. It is actually impossible.

    @devapsarl how many dependency’s have you installed for a yarn install to take 20 seconds? 😂

    @NoToJavaScript

    I consider myself lucky beyond measure not to use javascript, or any of its frameworks.

    @for-Each it is never 20 seconds. It is just a way of saying that yarn succeeded when npm or brew failed.
