Me: Working on trying to salvage our shitty project
PM: EMAILS ARN'T BEING SENT FOR OUR TEST ENVIRONMENTS
Me: Ohkay.. Is it urgent? I fixed it last time.. Seems like the other devs broke it.
PM: YES WE NEED TO PASS ALL OUR TEST CASES ASAP
Me: Well maybe it should be failed if it keeps breaking all the time..
PM: SEND ME AN EMAIL WITH WHAT YOU CHECKED AND OVERNIGHT YOU CAN FIGURE IT OUT WITH OUR TERRIBLE OFFSHORE TEAM

    You guys need a team to fix something like email not being sent?

    And who did the RCA? Is the email not being triggered? Is the email triggered but not sent because your email provider blocked it for some reason? Did the email get sent and was it found in their spam directory? And most of all, is the feature toggle to send email in QA env enabled at all?

    If such preliminary analyses are not done, it's fitting to have such tests disabled

    @asgs the team is responsible for the code and the application.. Along with me being an onshore guy. Its a long complicated story.

    No documentation though so idk how to configure it so I have to shift through terrible spaghetti code from guys being paid 10 bucks an hour to figure it out.
