What would you say are good sites to write articles (such as for describing small projects/hacks) on nowadays? I’m thinking what is in now, Medium, Hackernoon?

Medium, dev.to and the likes, you will be lost in the masses of half baked content that doesn't serve much of a purpose beyond generating views.

I have a major issue with these platforms as it's rare to find decent content for anything beyond a entry level details, But then, I prefer details, nitty gritty examples and evidence beyond "I like this because it's so nice" - guess I'm to old school for modern day devs and 5 second attention spans.

As for your content, throw it at a wall like medium/ dev.to and see if it sticks.

It depends on your goal, platforms like Medium, dev.to suit me for educational purposes. I wanted to write a Frankenstein game for my course project in Unity programming. I re-read many of the frankenstein essays at https://paperap.com/free-papers/... to learn the various details for my project. But for the discussion of all technical issues, these resources helped me a lot. Perhaps if you don't have a school project, then you need to find others, but for school and college course projects, they are ideal.
