Parzi86635y@Haxk20 i actually added the Kali repo to my Debian install as they have further updated shit. The kernel happens to always be newer than Debian's, so...

@dontbeevil Well, then good that most of the software on there is open source. Imagine it being closed source and nobody being able to see if any if the applications might contain backdoors or similar things... then you'd have an even worse problem 😉

@dontbeevil I don't even want to imagine that. Reminds me of that time when a backdoor was found in SSH, I don't even want to know how it would have gone if that wouldn't have been open source 😧

@Parzi I know it is 20d after the incident but did you check the hashes? Are you sure that nobody changed those distros? Also do you know what actualy happened?

@Parzi They have hashes on their websites but i think they are only for he whole distro
Did the Kali repos get pwned? Updated to kernel 5.3.0 and rebooted to this. File is 8 bytes, contains just "fuck you".
