I HATE it when people talk about the meta and not the data. Substance less pricks.

    Meta is usually more then enough to identify the data, or reproduce the data anyway.

    @C0D4 No. Saying an audio file is a WAV file recorded with 24bit depth and at 44.1khz and 2 channels is not the same as listening to it.

    Simpletons who talk about superficial stuff. I have learned to tolerate such conversations.

    @C0D4 Besides, if that were true, then what is the need to add metadata to data. Just use metadata everywhere. See how that works out.

    I appreciate your trolling attempt by the way. But like I mentioned in my rant, I hate it.

    @-red I believe @C0D4 meant situations like using the message timings between you and a registered heart specialist to figure out that you probably have a heart condition (and knowing companies these days, showing you ads of heart condition medication).

    @RememberMe Well then it's not a general statement.

    Oh god this won't end.

    So want if one talks about metadata...

    @linuxxx So you like it when someone beats about the bush in your conversations ? If you do, then wow. You probably have a lot of time to spare.

    I've had people waste my time by not answering my questions because they don't know and don't want to embarrass themselves by admitting it. So they talk crap instead.

    What's up with people trolling today ?

    @-red You seem a bit tense (which make sense considering the website/app we're on), but I don't think that anyone in this thread is actively trolling.

    Just give it some time to calm down, and it'll be alright.

    @-red the kind of meta you're talking about (conversational) isn't what @linuxxx and @C0D4 are talking about (personal records metadata). Calm down.

    @-red😕I wasn't trolling - for a change.

    I can sorta see how you could have taken it that way - but the OP was a bit lacking in context for anyone to match the dots of "meta" and "beating around the bush in a conversation".

    But whatever. I'm not in this one to argue.

    @C0D4 @RememberMe @Jilano
    I've calmed down. Peace. ✌🏻🙃
  • 2
    @C0D4 "Oh yeah? Well I bet you didn't have any arguments to support your point anyway! Hmmff"

    @Jilano 🤫 don't tell @-red

    @-red No, it's a pun (meta and data combined, since that's an actual IT term).
