@MrCSharp Oh, because ‘man’. I was so confused. I just interpreted it as the ‘mankind’ kind of man. Also never really got into the whole fighting over words not used with malintent. Guys being used as a plural noun, for example. Like, there’s legitimate inequality and there are definitely things that I wish were different in terms of treatment of individuals based on the anatomy they happened to be born with, but making members of the other anatomical side feel attacked for just saying things that are commonly said with no bad intent never made sense to me. That’s just turning a friendly into a hostile for no good reason.

But I also hate the ol’ barometer of how woke/progressive a company is being based on the number of women/POC/LGBTQ they hire.

I hate having to guess if I got hired because of the anatomy I happened to be born with. I hate other people having to guess if I got hired because I’m competent or if it was close to stat line reckoning season.
