We had a group presentations today, and one group had a simple home screen for a reservation system. It consisted of a date picker and some labeled buttons.

My teacher said, "I don't like how the date search field isn't labeled, I don't know that, that field is for a date".

It's a date picker, that date icon is a universal sign for pick a date, the group said.

He was our programming teacher in our first year 🙈

oddly enough, i agree with the teacher, a placeholder would have made a world of difference, didn't have to be a label or what not.

Maybe the three yellow fields should also be labeled as buttons.

    Yeah a placeholder would help

Actually I kind of agree with the teacher. The annoying thing about date pickers is the format. So a placeholder saying something like: "dd-mm-yyyy" would be nice.

Agree, it's good put a label and placeholder. The amount of people I've seen "not getting" the simple UI I built convinced me to be as explicit as possible.
