    @DeveloperACE a request came in to me because everyone in the other departments at work trust me to get stuff done... I forwarded it to the developer who works on the project (who is also more senior than me) because my manager told me.stop doing extra work... He didn't do anything... The wrong people noticed... Then I decided to be a team player and take responsibility (I could have nagged the person on JIRA, followed up etc.) And it escalated to a 'disciplinary meeting' because my boss asked me not to point to fingers because he would look bad

    @DeveloperACE office politics... I just choose to be the bigger man and not point fingers ... Just post here to get over it

    @zareef that's cruel.
    But I have to say, it's a skill you will learn: Avoiding the blame for something without directly attacking someone.
    It took me a few years to get used to,the sad thing is that it's needed.
