just because it would be too boring to see a guy google stuff and go trough stack overflow posts in a movie, usually action movies, they have to make hacking look exiting and hard, for people that have no idea. Well it is pretty hard to actually do something constructive on a pc typing that hard/fast. While most hackers don't know what they are doing until they do, and then that doesn't apply for the next hack either.

To me they look like ALT+TAB ALT+TAB ALT+TAB
